I have occasionally heard a story about a tummy tuck gone wrong. Just so happens that my wife works in the medical field and in her experience she has never seen a doctor not being held responsible for this sort of gross negligence.  Especially when it was so obvious where the responsibility lie.  But that’s not to say that it’s not possible and that one should not take every precaution to avoid this sort of situation.

Be extremely careful in choosing your doctor, don’t base your decision totally upon the price and check into the reputation and references of the doctor. One more precaution that can be taken from is you can check with the medical board of your state to see what sort of issues the doctor or his or her office may have.
